We are a vibrant and community-minded school based in Waitakere City, on the doorstep of Te Wao Nui a Tiriwa, The Waitākere Ranges.

At our school, we celebrate the values of ako tahi, where the connectedness of teaching and learning fosters growth not only academically but also personally. Through this collaborative approach, we empower each other to reach our fullest potential, recognising that every member of our community brings unique strengths and perspectives.

Manaakitanga is at the heart of all we do. We believe in nurturing a culture of kindness, respect, and care, not only towards each other but also towards our environment. As an enviro school, we are committed to sustainability and kaitiakitanga, instilling in our ākonga (students) a deep appreciation for the natural world and their role in preserving it for future generations.

Whanaungatanga, the spirit of belonging and connectedness, is woven into the fabric of our school community. We celebrate diversity and inclusivity, embracing cultural richness and honouring the unique heritage of each individual. Together, we create a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued, heard, and respected.

Our school is committed to providing a space where students receive a well-rounded education that includes learning languages, about the arts and about their own health and well-being, while also striving for excellence in numeracy and literacy. Our school is a member of the Kōtuitui Kāhui Ako with several of our neighbouring schools. We aim to offer our tamariki a seamless learning pathway to support them on their journey.

As we journey together, guided by the wisdom of our ancestors, let us remember the whakataukī: "He waka eke noa.” A canoe which we are all in with no exception.
